Landscape  design, small space  gardening 4/14
Saturday 10:00 am
One  of our landscape  designers will talk about common design elements. Find out how  to get the  most from your small spaces! We will also look at common  mistakes  and how  to fix them.

March  is also when the next series of Treekeepers classes get underway, but the time
to sign up is now in February. As the Openlands website points out, trees can
live for 100 years in nature, but in an urban environment, they survive an
average of only 15 years unless they're taken care of. Which is where we, the
citizens, come in.
Treekeepers
classes run for three hours on Saturdays from March 3 to April 14 and cost $120.
The location is Trumbull Park, 2400 E. 105th St. in Chicago's South Deering
neighborhood.
